Knightswood Secondary Students Visit Holyrood

Today I hosted a visit to Holyrood by S4 Modern Studies students from Knightswood Secondary School, which is in my Glasgow Anniesland constituency.

 

They were shown around the Parliament and were given the opportunity to see how the Parliament functions on a day to day basis.  I was intrigued to hear their views on knife crime, challenging fascism in Scotland, student funding and ways to combat the recession.

 

It was a very enjoyable visit which gave me a refreshing insight as to how young people perceive contemporary politics.
